Stuart Reid is an artist, architectural designer and professor of environmental design at OCAD University. Reid completed his B.A. Fine Arts in 1974 at University of Guelph, and his M Arch. at U.C.L.A. in 1985.He is internationally renown for his large-scale artwork in architectural glass. Reid is presently working on a 500’ long glass mural for Toronto’s Union Station. Recent major public commissions include several artworks for Bloorview KIds Rehab (Toronto), Salzburg Congress (Salzburg, Austria), Azure Bar and Reception Desk feature artworks for Intercontinental - Toronto Centre (Front St.), and a multi-sectioned glass artwork for the three-storey glass facade of the Mississauga Living Arts Centre.

Stuart Reid creates amazing and colorful murals inspired by the people in local subway stations. His huge portraits are now hung at subway stations. Stuart mural projects have colored and brighten up many dull subway stations.
