Shannon M. Turner, Managing Director, joined CORE, organizational home to CORE Performance Company, starting March 2015.

From 2009-2015, Shannon was Manager of Programs & Services at Alternate ROOTS, a nonprofit arts organization serving 14 states of the South. ROOTS is an arts & social justice network, which CORE has belonged to for more than 20 years.

Along with her board service at WonderRoot, and when she’s not being an arts administrator, Shannon also blogs, writes poetry, performs, and tells a pretty good story, especially at Carapace. Lately, Shannon can be found Mondays at noon on the North Avenue Lounge on 91.1 WREK.
