Education, Detki-Monetki Educational project in Kyiv Ukraine

When once asked about my eagerness to conduct seminars and trainings for my experienced colleagues or youths I confessed that I enjoyed learning something new, studying and sharing useful and interesting information with others.

That is perhaps why I was destined to begin my career as a school teacher as early as in my university years. And that is also why I am currently implementing an educational project for young children, teenagers and their parents. I do like it!

I travelled throughout Ukraine in autumn 2010 and spring 2011 working for the project “Financial and Business Literacy School” that had been launched for children from lower-income families, boarding schools and orphanages. This was essential experience of communicating with adults and children when you have only few hours to gain their trust, share useful information and give a thrust to obtaining new skills they will use in their lives.

Such communication format requires maximum concentration, attentiveness, understanding the audience’s specifics and allowing certain improvisation while adhering to the core curriculum. This project provided us with abundant information as well as strength and inspiration to carry on implementation of similar social projects in the future.
