Neil Kraft is the Founder and Chief Creative Director of Kraftworks.
A native New Yorker, Neil graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a degree in photography. His career has been driven by a passion for infusing style and substance into building brands that people want to be a part of.
He began at Barney’s New York as SVP of Advertising and Marketing where, for nine years, his in-house agency created a series of campaigns that transformed a little-known downtown store the international powerhouse it is today.
Next, Neil became the Worldwide Image Director of Esprit De Corps and successfully redirected its image with the “What Would You Do To Change The World?” campaign.
Neil then became the Creative Director at Calvin Klein where he set the company on a major new trajectory. His campaigns using Marky Mark and Kate Moss, as well as those for Obsession and CK One perfumes, were instrumental in transforming the face of fashion advertising, as was his unique use of outdoor media.
In October 2000, Neil opened KraftWorks. Here, he assembled a team of talented creative minds and strategists to create innovative, successful campaigns for such brands as the Aldo Group, Ann Taylor, Bali Intimates, Bitten by Sarah Jessica Parker, Calvin Klein cosmetics, Cointreau, InStyle Magazine, La Prairie, J. Crew, Physicians Formula, Playtex Intimates, SmartWater, Wonderbra and Voss.
