Mel Langton

Illustrator, Graphic Designer and Artist in Lincoln United Kingdom

I'm a Lincoln based designer and illustrator who adores vectors and digital design but also loves trusty old pens, pencils and paint.

I moved to Lincoln from Leicester to study Graphic Design and Illustration at De Montford University and I graduated in 2001 with BA (Hons) Illustration, in which I chose to specialise.

I produce a variety of work, including roller derby artwork, company logos, posters, flyers, canvases, custom hand painted skateboard decks, printed t-shirts and limited edition prints of my digital artwork.

The Trail to Walter

@ VOL 3 ON OCT 07, 2015

Lincoln Barons' Charter Trail was part of the 800th year Magna Carta Celebrations and artist Mel Langton takes us through a fun behind the scenes of her work on Sir Walter Style (aka William Malet a feudal baron from Somerset).

All 25 barons lined the streets of Lincoln during the summer and were later auctioned raising almost £170,000 in one night. Lincolnites will miss them but the funds raised contributed to fight hunger and poverty in the UK. Well done barons!
