Jane Anne Franklin is the Supervisor of Animal Training and the Assistant Mammal Curator at the Louisville Zoo. Franklin has a BS in Zoology from the University of Louisville and has spent the last 22 years of her life at the Zoo learning about and caring for some of the most precious creatures on our planet. When she isn’t training a polar bear or a sea lion, you might find her out talking to zoo guests sharing the resulting passion of a lifetime’s work with animals. Franklin, a Louisville native, also enjoys her free time with her horses and camels she shares with her husband Dave.
