Feline Minne
Artist
in London
United Kingdom
Feline Minne (°1987, Ghent, Belgium) lives and works in London, where she is completing her Master in Painting degree at the prestigious Royal College of Art. Prior to that she received a degree in animation filmmaking from Kask Belgium with great distinction, and spent an Erasmus year at Kunstakademie Münster, Germany. She is a published author. Her debut was nominated for two literary prizes.
The artist / writer builds her work mainly around characters she created in her early youth. ‘Making art is about escaping into self-made worlds and inviting people in.’
Her paintings represent a fictive world she modelled a long time ago, back when she was looking for a way to cope with the rather peculiar reality she was living in as a child.

In 'There is no difference between art, life and love' artist Feline Minne shares with us some of her brilliantly colourful and delightful art pieces.
As you learn from her PechaKucha for Feline both love and memory are key subjects in her work. She is interested in the perspective of a child, the feeling of wonder, the joy and humour within emotional narratives.
We want Feline's art all over our walls!
