Ed Gillis and Jocelyn Land-Murphy have spent much of their first nine years as parents adventuring in the wild with their sons Heron and Sitka - including hiking 3,000 km through Europe and Patagonia and cycling 6,000 km through Oceania. They currently live in New Westminster.
Ed is a former legislative aide in the House of Commons, turned ghost writer, turned social studies teacher. Jocelyn is a former youth sustainability activist, turned Naturopathic Doctor specializing in healthy pregnancies. Heron and Sitka attend Qayqayt Elementary by day and scheme up future family adventures in their spare time.
