Dr David Greenfield

David is the Managing Director of SOcial, ENvironmental & EConomic Solutions (SOENECS) Ltd, his own independent environmental research and advisory practice. He is the non-executive Chair of the board of directors for ADBA, Chair of the ICE Resource Management Panel, Delivery Director for the Diocese of Chichester Energy Stewardship Programme and past chair and advisor to the National Waste Network Coordinators (WNC).

He is a Chartered Waste Manager, a Fellow of the CIWM and a Chartered Environmentalist with over 17 years leadership experience in public sector roles focused on waste strategy, planning and delivering efficiencies in the environmental space. He acts as advisor to both central and local government.

His notable past achievements include; the creation, in partnership with BPP LLP, for LWARB and LEDNet, a template planning policy and operational waste strategy for use by London Boroughs and developers (Strategy.),the creation of the Waste Information network, the creation of the mass-flow model for the East Sussex County Council used for the £1.3billion PFI contract, the iESE partnership routemap, the iESE waste collection procurement framework, the Dynamic procurement Solutions Rewards contract, used by LB’s of Havering and Ealing, and as chair of the Waste Network Coordinators (WNC) formed a partnership with LWARB & WRAP to produce the WR 11&12 (TEEP) routemap.
