Intersecciones: Havana and Portland
BY DANIEL DUFORD
@ VOL 18
ON JAN 07, 2016
"[Havana] is a small city but it created a lot of history and expectation. The American ideas about 'Cuba frozen in time' don't play out. It's both incredibly worldly and intimately local."
In Intersecciones: Havana and Portland from PechaKucha Night Portland Vol. 18, speaker Daniel Duford tells us about being a co-curator of Intersecciones: Havana and Portland, a gallery show featuring six cuban artists at Louis & Clark College. He explains the process of curating a show featuring contemporary Cuban artists.
