Charles Champagne is a local photographer from Coteau, La. Champagne graduated from LSU’s Manship School of Mass Communications in December of 2015 with a Bachelors Degree in Digital Advertising and a minor in Visual Communications. In 2016, Champagne founded Louisiana’s first queer arts & culture magazine, LEUR magazine. Champagne has accumulated 5+ years of experience in the fields of hospitality, photojournalism, publishing, production, marketing and advertising. Currently residing in Mid-City Baton Rouge, Champagne spends most of his days as a part-time creative consultant, photographer, and grocery-bagger, all while continuing to build and develop his small business, LEUR Magazine, LLC. Collaborating with local queer artists, non-profits and community organizations, Champagne continues to host local community events and art exhibitions for the local LGBTQIA+ creative community.
