Director, PechaKucha Miami
Going on seven years I've enjoyed bringing Miami's best and brightest together through PechaKucha Miami whether it be at the Rooftop Garden in the Miami Design District, Fairchild Tropical Garden, AIA National Convention, Bass Museum, or Wolfsonian- FIU. I celebrated my thirtieth program at the Miami Museum of Science on the theme of City of the Future to a full house. Now I'm looking forward to the next thirty events, starting this coming year working with new presenters at new venues on topics such as typography, sustainability, work process and practice, social innovation, resilience and obscura...
Miami - The Yes City
BY CARL HILDEBRAND

“There’s life before PechaKucha, and after PechaKucha”
In PechaKucha Tokyo’s 134th volume, PechaKucha Miami organizer Carl Hildebrand discusses the city he loves. A vibrant metropolis, Miami has so much to offer. From the neon views of Miami beach to the Ichimura gardens, there is always something to see. But as fast paced as Miami is, PechaKucha is one place people can take a break and connect. All about the people, PechaKucha has helped up-incoming and veteran talent alike share their work and find an audience.
This was "PechaKucha of the Day" on Monday, April 19th 2016.
