Bernard Franck has lived in Laos with his wife Sabine and their 3 children for the last 2 years. Bernard has worked in the rehabilitation and disability inclusion sectors for more than 25 years in conflict and post-conflict countries in Africa, South-Asia and South-East Asia.
Bernard’s main motivation in his work is to advise and contribute to create positive changes in the daily lives and participation of persons living with impairment. Outside of work, Bernard is an enthusiastic Ultimate Frisbee player and enjoys spending time with his family.

Bernard Franck offers the perspectives of the people living with impairment whom he has met over the years in his work. They are each unique, and their photos are a testament to their struggles and also our common humanity. He urges us to take a step into their life, to experience life as they may experience it.
