Asfandyar Anis Khattak

Folk & Fusion Dancer in Islamabad Pakistan

Asfandyar Anis Khattak belongs to the old chief family of Khattaks from Gumbat town of Kohat District and is the 11th generation of Khushal Khan Khattak. Having had the passion for dancing since his early days in school where he performed the Khattak Dance at a school function, Asfandyar got his formal training in Kathak in 2002 and in Bharatnatyam in 2007 from Ms Indu Mitha. He is a professional folk and fusion dancer and has performed at numerous platforms including Lok Virsa and PNCA

How the warriors of the tribe performed it as part of their war preparation. He also speaks about his passion for dance and his fusion of classical Indian dance with the Khattak dance.
