Creative Director, House of Farhung
Anuje Farhung is the creative director of her fashion brand House of Farhung. The intricately detailed outfits she creates, cater to the women looking to not compromise on quality and traditional attire but also move with contemporary times and silhouettes.. She is also adjunct Professor at TMUC. In 2013 she was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship and she went to do her M.F.A in Fashion Design from the Savannah College of Art & Design. She was fortunate enough to intern during this period with Oscar De La Renta, which was an amazing learning experience and has strived to achieve the most academically. Before this she taught at her prestigious almamater for a year. She completed her Bachelor (honors) in Printmaking from the National College of Arts in her home country Pakistan- where she received a distinction and awards, which included the Shakir Ali Award and the Percy Brown Award.
She has always been inclined to amalgamate installation and performance, which led to her juxtaposing her Art, into sculptural forms continuously in her work.
