Zak Niazi speaks about constant changing technology, and how cameras have more or less stayed the same. He speaks about new methods of immersing the viewer in the image, rather than just limiting our photographic media to a simple, two-dimensional rectangle. Architect / Urban Planner David Denton recently relocated to Knoxville from Los Angeles. A former Managing Partner of Frank Gehry Associates, David has been working in the Virtual World for seven years and is founder of the K2C project funded by the US State Department bringing together American and Egyptian architecture students in collaboration in the Virtual World via avatars.

Jim van Hazendonk und Roland Maria Reininger präsentieren "Die Echtmacherei", ein kleines Büro in Dornbirn. Produktdesign, 3D & Visualisierungen aller Art, Animationen etc. Je mehr Zeit und Liebe zum Detail, desto mehr verschwimmen die Grenzen zwischen Virtuellem und Realität. Geometrie, Material und Licht sind die drei Hauptbestandteile des finalen Bildes. Die beiden Designer "machen echt".

Zonder handen is een kort filosofisch gedicht van Micha Hamel geschreven voor en over de virtuele wereld van de Oculus Rift. Een 3D-verhaal over het loslaten van lichaam en geest, over de betekenis van denken en voelen. Zonder handen laat je hersenen gymmen. Demian Albers creëerde een surrealistisch vormgegeven Virtual Reality ervaring waarin grenzen verdwijnen.

Kirsty Keatch is a sound artist and creative programmer exploring the design of playful interactive sound in game systems, including AR and VR. Her work seamlessly integrates the dark arts of mobile technology with lighter creative contexts to widen people’s access to experiences with sound in installations in gallery spaces and mobile games.
Having completed a Masters in Sound Design by research at Edinburgh University, she worked with assistive music technology company, Skoogmusic. She had her kinetic sound installation, Katakata, curated at the Edinburgh International Science Festival in the National Museum of Scotland. Her recent AR game, Fit In, has been interpreted as a VR Party Game and been played at Arcadia in Dundee and V&A Friday Late in London.

Maurice Andresen is a visual artist and graphic designer originally from Germany. Having graduated from Communication Design at the Glasgow School of Art in 2016, he designs predominantly using 3D software to create animated environments, characters and narratives that he incorporates into interactive video games. He is interested in building experiential simulations which transport viewers into otherworldly realms.
