After graduating with an Engineering Degree, he started working for Engineers without Borders as their Designer. Being a Designer in Toronto, he believes the delightful Twitter can be a great tool to sew the creative fabric together without agenda or ego.

10 years after the foudation of Musei di Strada Nuova, Palazzo Rosso gives his visitors a free wi-fi connection. Musei di Strada Nuova are now asking to all visitors to take pictures inside and share them on the social media. The project Condividi l’Arte wants to communcate this new aproach: it will be allowed to take pictures of the buildings and their inner treasure. The Major of Genoa, Marco Doria, took his own selfie and he shared on twitter with #selfiealmuseo. This hashtag was used from teens of people to share selfie. Utopia Pirata, the creator and owner of this idea in Genoa, is now looking for other Museum involvement to share arts and to make culture social.

BY BERNARD ADONGO
Bernard Adongo created MyRide a mobile phone based app that allows passengers inside matatus to rate them in real time (sort of a tweeter for matatu passengers). Using the registration number of the matatu as a hashtag they can then share their experiences while connecting with each other.
MyRide is also a great management and enforcement tool because for each matatu, it creates a log of conversations which are accessible to police, the National Transport Safety Authority and the owner of the matatu, thus increasing the accountability of the matatu crew.

Mid City - Baton Rouge is the most diverse area in the city. So how do we bring together 40,000 people to identify as one? You create a branding campaign that does not tell them who they. Instead you launch a campaign that lets them tell Baton Rouge who, what, when and where Mid City-BR is. Listen as Lynley Farris and William Doran tell you the story of how one hashtag and thousands of photos later, a region of the Baton Rouge has declared I Am Mid City.
