BY SYED FAIZAAN AHAB
@ VOL 5 ON APR 29, 2018

Faizaan Ahab decided to upgrade the significance of what it meant to him and experimented with it as an "Instrument of Learning". The presentation talks about the marriage of academic principles with dance to enhance experiential learning. Faizaan talks about three academic disciplines, mathematics, psychology and design mapping, all three using dance as a learning aid, hence making it transdiciplinary in nature.

Invitation to Volume 5 - International Dance Day Edition

Dance has been a part of our culture and the culture of the Indus region since prehistoric times. The statue of Dancing Girl discovered from Mohenjodaro is a testament to how, even 5000 years ago, our society was enamored by the art of dance. To celebrate International Dance Day this year, Kuch Khaas has decided to organize a very unique PechaKucha Nights Islamabad with not only presentations by some of the most prominent performers of Pakistan, but also featuring their dance performances. Renowned artists like Indu Mitha, Suhaee Abro, Wahab Shah and Gillian Rhodes share their experiences and showcase their art. For details: https://www.facebook.com/events/610430455968653/
