Yongqing Liu is a Secretary-General of Shenzhen Graphic Design Association. His amazing design works utilizing Chinese characters and fonts for products and branding is a combination of historical background and his own feelings toward life. “没了眼镜就不会思考”，戴美儿的眼镜宣言语出惊人，她是香港时尚眼镜品牌“Genic Eyewear”的创始人，在她的设计理念当中， 时尚、摄影、建筑、音乐或美容都可以作为设计灵感来源。但归根结底，她认为适合的才是最好的。因此，她致力于为塌鼻子亚洲人设计最适合佩戴的个性化眼镜，这个鼻梁上的小小物件，如果选对了可以与佩戴者融为一体，甚至让人觉得离开了它就“不会思考”。
除了分享这独具一格的设计理念，戴美儿还通过图片分享了“Genic Eyewear”品牌推出的多款产品。这些眼镜为切合亚洲人较扁鼻梁，鼻托做得较高，另备有复古形状、浮夸颜色或纹理，令眼镜不止于必需品，而是代表个性的时尚配饰。 戴美儿说，既然要做个性化设计，就要将个性化进行到底。因此她开设了“造一副属于自己的眼镜”工作坊，让参加者只需利用简单工具，花上数小时便能亲手造出独一无二、属于自己的眼镜。
1 Emily Dai: I can’t think without my glasses
“I can’t think without my glasses” says Emily Dai, the founder of Hong Kong fashion brand Genic Eyewear. According to her conception of design, fashion, photography, architecture, music and beauty are all inspirational. But she is also concerned with the practical elements of design. For this reason, Dai has dedicate herself to designing the most suitable glasses, particularly for Asians with lower noses.
In addition to sharing her unique design concepts, Emily Dai also shared photos of Genic Eyewear’s different product styles, incorporating retro shapes, flamboyant colours and textures. Dai says: “Good design must be personalised.” Her workshop’s stated aim is “to build glasses that belong to the owner.” Customers need only spend a couple of hours and curtesy of Genic Eyewear, they will have their own unique pair of glasses.

Michael shared some of their main design products and furniture and also some graphics design such as logos, booklets and visual identities. These designs have been exhibited in Milan and many other places. Their attention to "idea", aimed to make their design conceptual. "The subject of our current project is about language and design". "We believe language philosophy and design are similar in essence, so we are creating a new culture and a characteristic design method''.

Zhang Yiyuan elaborated the industrial designers "experiences in a series of products" design by demonstrating a chassis embedded 100,000 drills between the cross-border cooperation of Game Demon, Swarovski and Ali, which began from the player and subverted the typical monster computer from the layout of hardware and definition of appearance. The experiences included cross-border cooperation, investigation and survey of products, order supervising at the production process, product propaganda after the product was presented, subsequent follow-up and obtaining more creative styles in nature, architecture and other areas, which expressed her ultimate pursuit of product as well as her determination to build design influence in the professional field.

Eileen's speech was about these commun objects that have their own histories. She loves to collect vintage clothes and retouch them. She brings to each of them a new and creative life. Then, she introduced her company called “The Yesterdayskin” which is tend to revisit "vintage" from a modern point of view. The Yesterdayskin is not only a fashion design company but it develops also cooperation with many associations and creative group. They are always looking for new possibility and media to do creative things.

ArchiAid was formed soon after the devastating events of 3/11 in Japan. Many of Japan's leading architects joined forces with students of architecture to help design and rebuild some of the hardest hit coastal areas.
PechaKucha Nights at Tokyo Design Week are where audiences can catch presentations by some of the brightest and most interesting design talent in Japan (with a few welcome guests from abroad). Each year's event fills up the TDW venue where it is held, with upwards of 700 to 1000 in attendance.
PechaKucha teamed up with 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT as part of the "Design Ah!" exhibition to produce two special events on March 23rd. One for kids, where they made and presented their 20x20s in an open workshop. The other for 'grown-ups' was part of Roppongi Art Night, and featured an inspiring lineup of design talent.

Presented at PechaKucha Night Tokyo Vol. 124, Camouflage: The New Plaid's Researcher & Designer, Sjef van Gaalen, is fascinated with camouflage and the history of how it has become deeply ingrained in popular fashion culture. He deconstructs the ironies associated with fashion being at odds with the military, pointing out that the armed forces are now more concerned with the image that camouflage conveys to new recruits than with its original tactical use.

3D printing has is an awesome tool for designers working in fashion. Rik Theunissen specializes in some really fantastic, unique projects. In “How 3D Printing Gave Me a Ride2 Fashion Week” from PKN Maastricht Vol. 23 he presents his design for large, randomly-generated crystals worn and shown at Amsterdam Fashion Week.
