“没了眼镜就不会思考”，戴美儿的眼镜宣言语出惊人，她是香港时尚眼镜品牌“Genic Eyewear”的创始人，在她的设计理念当中， 时尚、摄影、建筑、音乐或美容都可以作为设计灵感来源。但归根结底，她认为适合的才是最好的。因此，她致力于为塌鼻子亚洲人设计最适合佩戴的个性化眼镜，这个鼻梁上的小小物件，如果选对了可以与佩戴者融为一体，甚至让人觉得离开了它就“不会思考”。
除了分享这独具一格的设计理念，戴美儿还通过图片分享了“Genic Eyewear”品牌推出的多款产品。这些眼镜为切合亚洲人较扁鼻梁，鼻托做得较高，另备有复古形状、浮夸颜色或纹理，令眼镜不止于必需品，而是代表个性的时尚配饰。 戴美儿说，既然要做个性化设计，就要将个性化进行到底。因此她开设了“造一副属于自己的眼镜”工作坊，让参加者只需利用简单工具，花上数小时便能亲手造出独一无二、属于自己的眼镜。
1 Emily Dai: I can’t think without my glasses
“I can’t think without my glasses” says Emily Dai, the founder of Hong Kong fashion brand Genic Eyewear. According to her conception of design, fashion, photography, architecture, music and beauty are all inspirational. But she is also concerned with the practical elements of design. For this reason, Dai has dedicate herself to designing the most suitable glasses, particularly for Asians with lower noses.
In addition to sharing her unique design concepts, Emily Dai also shared photos of Genic Eyewear’s different product styles, incorporating retro shapes, flamboyant colours and textures. Dai says: “Good design must be personalised.” Her workshop’s stated aim is “to build glasses that belong to the owner.” Customers need only spend a couple of hours and curtesy of Genic Eyewear, they will have their own unique pair of glasses.

Eileen's speech was about these commun objects that have their own histories. She loves to collect vintage clothes and retouch them. She brings to each of them a new and creative life. Then, she introduced her company called “The Yesterdayskin” which is tend to revisit "vintage" from a modern point of view. The Yesterdayskin is not only a fashion design company but it develops also cooperation with many associations and creative group. They are always looking for new possibility and media to do creative things.

Jeff is an artist and designer based in Maryland. In 2001 Donaldson began preparing video hardware to intentionally short-circuit. This practice is the foundation for his textile and surface design practice.

Jensin Wallace relates her trip to Slovenia to collaborate with a man suffering from tetraplegia to create custom smart clothing to assist him on a day to day basis - all controlled by his cell phone! Wow!
Jensin was trained as textile textile designer at the Rhode Island School of Design and experimented with how to make sound and emotions tangible. After getting some experience in the luxury fashion industry, she went back to school and received a Masters of Design focusing in fashion and technology. Currently she works as a sweater technical designer for a high end women's label in NYC.

Cute Circuit has created shirts that can be used to hug someone from across the world, dresses that can be used as a mobile phone, a dress that displays your tweets, and clothes whose color can be changed through a mobile phone app.

3D printing has is an awesome tool for designers working in fashion. Rik Theunissen specializes in some really fantastic, unique projects. In “How 3D Printing Gave Me a Ride2 Fashion Week” from PKN Maastricht Vol. 23 he presents his design for large, randomly-generated crystals worn and shown at Amsterdam Fashion Week.
