Karla Davis and James Abercrombie have a daughter who loves books and pirates. So they did the only logical thing, they made a book about pirates. In this presentation they talk about how they got their inspiration for the content of the book and then share a few of the poems they made for it.

Poems reveal themselves in Catherine O'Brien's work, in which images, stories, and physical objects intersect. Catherine is an artist and teacher living in Vientiane who finds hidden stories in what is not clear or even visible, such as the outline of a faded poster on a wall.
