The Pottery Workshop

"Our cornerstone workshop is located in a place called Jingdezhen, which is known as the place where porcelain was invented during the Song Dynasty."

In "The Pottery Workshop" from PechaKucha Night Shanghai Vol. 21, Dryden Wells talks about The Pottery Workshop -- a ceramics-making community and business located in Jingdezhen. Dryden goes over the history of the work space, and the vast array of programs it runs. The studio offers a variety of ceramics classes, and regularly hosts arts events for the local populace.

Jugendkunstwerkstatt Youth Art Workshop

Started in 1988, with a circus project made for kids by kids, Jugendkunstwerkstatt now offers a diverse set of different artistic and cultural projects for children and youngsters. Christof Nießen introduces us to the Jugendkunstwerkstatt Koblenz and gives us a glance at some of these projects. (in German)

NÓS workshop

Brian Barber presentis NósWorkshop, a design collective of graduate architects working out of Dublin which emerged during the recession.  Over the last few years, they have taken part in a series of exhibitions, competitions and created various installations throughout Ireland.  All of their projects thus far have not involved the conventional ‘client’ but rather stem from a collaboration with a local community to develop and construct a project.
