Maker Krewe

BY OSKIE CREECH
@ VOL 12 ON MAY 08, 2014

"I didn't teach her how to do it, another student had taught her how to do it who'd been to Maker Krewe and learned it from somebody else."

In Marker Krewe from PechaKucha New Orleans Vol. 12, Oskie Creech shares over eleven years of experience teaching in classrooms with what he views as overly structured schooldays. In 2009, he created summer camps allowing children the autonomy to create their own schedules. Oskie created Maker Krewe to provide the time, tools, expertise and community support that kids need in order to grow as creative problem solvers.
