Susanne Schmidt is a storyteller, comedian, event producer and licensed clinical mental health professional. She is a member of the Vermont Comedy Divas and has performed widely across the U.S.

In honor of the 50th anniversary of the monumental legacy left by Fabien’s grandfather, Jacques-Yves Cousteau, Mission 31 continues the dream of creating the first ocean floor habitats for humans and leading a team of ocean explorers on the first attempt to live and work underwater.

Growing up in New York in a large Italian family, it was almost impossible to get through a day without hearing a story. Sometimes about a current misadventure but mostly about the dead relatives. Stories were as essential a part of our lives as cannoli.

Spots Of Wonder

Monica Riehl has proposed “A Surf beach designed for the family in mind”, projected to put the border region on the map as a tourist destination for surfers worldwide. Monica plans to have a man-made surfing pool with synthetic waves that will mimic the ocean, now letting the inland population experience surfing without leaving their city.
