Why is waste management only ever seen as a chore/headache/mission? What if it was rather about fun and games, creativity and curiosity? Over the last 3 years the EcoBrick Exchange has tested out various approaches of implementing self-sustaining waste economies, and the journey has been colorful, bright and worth sharing. Ian Dommisse explains.

The Amazing Art of the Waste

Benjamin Ball is experimenting with the creation of architectural biodegradable sculptures like lamps, toy bricks, tanning boot, columns from soluable fiber, string, woven yarns and wild flower seeds combining different forms. He is experimenting with colors and quantifying the properties of the composite, nontoxic material in order to be used as a design material.
