Established in 2000, Synergy Theatre Project works towards rehabilitation and resettlement with prisoners, ex-prisoners and young people at risk of offending through theatre and related activities whilst placing the wider issues surrounding criminal justice in the public arena. Neil Grutchfield presents his experience working with the project as New Writing Manager.

In "Project Tobang" from PechaKucha Night Bexhill-on-Sea, Vol. 1, Helen Marshall reflects on a recent epic collaboration she undertook in Indonesia on a traditional theatre.
