Megan Jensen, a 101.5 UMFM radio personality takes us throught her adventures of radio. In search of a magical place where she could be creative in a cool and quiet environment, Megan found some very cool people inside of a radio station (including two bears).

At first she was only writing commercials but eventually her volunteering patience paid off and is now recording announcements over the radio, sharing her voice with the entirety of the campus. 

My Happy Place is wherever I am behind a microphone. On the radio, hosting an event, singing karaoke, interviewing major political figures for my new podcast; give me that mic and I’m completely at ease. There is no isolating feeling of social awkwardness. There is no question of whether or not I belong. There is no reason to justify why I’m there. It always feels right. It always feels like home. The location can change, but the feeling is always the same.
