Comparing our metro system to those present in Rome, Berlin, London, is it necessary for us to show these massive bridges and is the urban space they have occupied justified? How does this affect our urban fabric?

Systems to Success

Held on Saturday, April 28th at Long Beach City College (LBCC), the project team members for Systems to Success held information sessions, workshops, presentations and a resource fair for previously incarcerated and/or probation and parole impacted LBCC students to gain valuable insight and skills necessary to enter the workforce. The day included breakout sessions dedicated to gaining practical job interview skills (with an emphasis on preparing attendees to answer questions about their past), professional appearance and dress for success, a working resume, and entrepreneurship. Held at the Pacific Coast campus, a welcome by LBCC President Reagan Romali and collaboration with the LBCC Justice Scholars, a campus organization chartered to assist this target population, signaled an ongoing support system for these students to utilize the college to reach their personal and professional goals with success.
