Keep Swimming Moseley Road Baths


Kat Pearson is a member of Moseley Road Baths Action Group who are trying to make sure that the current owners (Birmingham City Council) not only look after the building, but also keep the pool open. The title comes from their recent social media campaign which encouraged people to #keepswimmingmrb!

Documenting Through Photography

Jan Caga was born in a small industrial town Hodonin, Czech republic in 1976. After graduating on VUT university in Art Design he began working as a freelance magazine photographer and later became a contract photographer for ISIFA Image Service agency. 

Caga used to work on long term projects, focused and documented mainly social and environmental issues, human and animal rights, mentally and physically handicapped communities, and the study of contemporary man and society.

He has received numerous awards in international photo contests such as several prizes in the Czech Press Photo, Award of Excellence in the 68th Pictures of the Year International competition, Grand prize PhtoEspana OjodePez Award of Human Values 2011. (in Czech)

He shares chocking numbers about drowning rate in the country and present the results of a very down to earth and efficient project where more than 500 children, in areas where it matters the most, learned to swim. And to keep us even more captivated, he managed to share beautiful pictures that transpire children’s pride as well as the essence and success of this swimming program.
