Oxjam Bedford: Working Locally, Impacting Globally

Williamsburg Fall Arts

Now in its fourth year, and with a new re-branded name, the Williamsburg Fall Arts festival is expaned from Labor Day to mid-October. Terry Buntrock, who is the organizer for this celebration of creativity, gives us just a sampling of the over 130 events that are jam packed into the festival. We also get a glimpse of next year's additions! So much creativity can't be contained.

Harvey Goldsmith (March 4, 1946) was the Live 8 event co-organizer in Hyde Park, London.

Goldsmith began his career in 1966 promoter, organizing musical events as the "Prince's Trust" annual London and historical presentations as the Concerts For The People Of Kampuchea in 1979 and Live Aid in 1985. He organized the Luciano career farewell tour Pavarotti in 2004.

Harmony in Aomori - The Gonohe Music Festival

While living in Gonohe, a small town in Aomori, Japan, Dave Herlich and Michael Warren decided to organize a free music festival. The Gonohe Music Festival showcases international music and food, bringing guests from over a dozen countries to a beautiful secluded park in Gonohe.

Official artist to the Writtle Jazz Festival and V festival, recently renamed RiZE, James shares stories of his time as a live portrait artist, his on and off-stage sketches, portraits and photographs, intertwined with stories about rock and pop icons.
