Dessau - Birthplace of Bauhaus

PRESENTED ON APR 13, 2018
IN TOKYO @ VOL 156

Dessau, Germany, home to the 20th century’s most influential design schools - Bauhaus - stands as symbol of European modernism. Pioneering new combinations of materials with new principles of functionalism gave way for remarkable architectonic qualities and ideals that continue to reflect upon the city itself and indeed the world. We’re happy to host PechaKucha Night Dessau organizer Christian Treffler who will share more about his influential city.
