Mhairi Towler is founder and creative director of the animation production company, Vivomotion, based in Dundee. The company offers a service of bespoke animations for scientific communication. Mhairi integrates a background in science with animation skills in order to use visual and 3D methodologies to communicate science to a wider audience.

 Patrick Letourneau is a 3D artist living and working in Winnipeg. In this presentation he recounts the story of how he made a working box camera with a radioactive WW2 reconaissance lens, a 3D printer, and some wood. He also shares some of the the photos he took with it.

Frank Lorenz, hobby photographer and communications coach, has always been a big fan of anything 3D since 2010.  Once having seen such a photo, he knew he had to buy a 3D camera and take such photos himself.  He is never without his camera and persuades his friends to view his photos whenever possible.  Having this camera has made him see his world in a new light and given those places a different point of reference and angle.

Закончила в 2010 году ВолгГТУ с дипломом инженера по специальности «Автоматизация технологических процессов и производств в химической промышленности”. Затем были аспирантура на кафедре процессов и аппаратов химических производств, работа инженером в отделе электроснабжения, автоматики и связи одной из проектных организаций. 

Лена расскажет о своём пути к, казалось бы, недостижимой мечте - миру анимации.
