Bridgeport PechaKucha, Volume 5, will be at the B-HIVE Coworking space on Thursday, Sept. 12th. Attend to hear great personal stories each told in 400 seconds with 20 images!!!! The theme will be NOT YOUR MAMA'S PECHAKUCHA! (Some content will be edgy and "adult!")

This is a free event (donations accepted since we try to make a $1 donation per person to the global PechaKucha organization) AND cover costs! The doors open at 6:00. Food will be lovingly and deliciously prepared and sold by Raquel Rivera-Pablo of A Pinch of Salt. The program will begin at 6:45 and will be completed by 9:00 with a 15 minute intermission.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR MORE Artists, Veterans, Writers, Dancers, Musicians, History Buffs, Cooks, Librarians, Barbers, Unicyclists, Botanists, Body Builders, Foodies, Teachers, (pretty much anyone with a passion about something) to share personal stories at this Bridgeport PECHAKUCHA – VOL 5.

Building a Backyard Pool

From watching a YouTube video a VISION of a small water feature in the backyard was born! What happens when a water feature turns into a small pool -- and then a  pond???  John explains how this project turned into an amibtious undertaking with a rented backhoe and a full summer of digging and moving piles of dirt. The outcome was worth it!
