Laughing and Crying with the Fort Collins Cycling Club

BY STEPHEN BECKLEY
@ VOL 6 ON NOV 08, 2018

Stephen's participation in the Fort Collins Cycling Club has earned him the nickname "Soft and Silky." Through the Club, there are amazing stories of resiliency and support for Club members. Stephen's own story is how the club helped him to deal with his 20 year old daughter having traumatic brain injury in 2010. Over the past few years, the club has become more diverse by emphasizing opportunities providing riding opportunities for folks new to group cycling.

AdVANture

BY TYRELL JOE "TJ" GRISEL
@ VOL 6 ON NOV 08, 2018

Vanlife and living tiny is exploding in this era of time. Many people are foregoing the status quo of the white picket fence, mortgage, and the 9 to 5 to live a life of travel and exploration. Avenue of choice comes a plenty but it the vanlife that strikes TJ's fancy.

What is this about food?

BY NATHALIE RACHLINE
@ VOL 6 ON NOV 08, 2018

What is the best way to relax and think straight? Cook and Bake of course! This has always been a passion of Nathalie's; choosing ingredients to put in recipes that are unexpected, baking for everyone without being able to eat the cakes: She has stories, pictures, memories, and simply just the pleasure of being in the kitchen.

Colorado Heritage Journey

BY JORDAN WILLIAMS
@ VOL 6 ON NOV 08, 2018

In the summer of 2018, Jordan was able to hike over 400 miles of the Colorado Trail from Denver to Durango with his wife and our dog, Aska. Besides just the majesty of the mountains and wilderness, Jordan also got to experience Colorado's special history and heritage as we made stops in several towns including Twin Lakes, Salida, and Silverton. Additionally, the connections Jordan made provided my adventure with a unique perspective that I want to share with others through our initiative entitled "Colorado Heritage Journey" (https://coheritagejourney.com/)

Airport Fantasy

BY JIM BROKISH
@ VOL 6 ON NOV 08, 2018

As a fairly frequent traveler during some phases of his career, Jim had imagined a fantasy about his return to Denver International Airport. He hopes the audience enjoys this story of a sweeping romantic gesture gone slightly wrong - or just in an unexpected way.
