Muses of Tuscany

@ VOL 16 ON NOV 12, 2016

One year Dorothy Fagan wondered in one of her watercolor paintings what it would be like to live in Tuscany long enough to absorb the lifestyle. The next year she found herself on an extended artistic retreat doing just that. Here she shares some snippets of that experience, which has now become a CreativSOUP Retreat that you can join with her.

@ VOL 16 ON NOV 12, 2016

Dog + Ma = Dogma

@ VOL 16 ON NOV 12, 2016

The Greek definition of Dogma is that which one thinks is true. In the case of Pam Woodson and her adopted shelter dog, Sully, the line between what Pam thinks is true is what Sully thinks is true may not matter, as long as Pam can become the person her dog thinks she is. Please enjoy this presentation as Pam channels the voice of Sully to share their life together.

Pop Up Urbanism – Black Rock City

@ VOL 16 ON NOV 12, 2016

What happens when some friends start having a Summer solstice bonfire on the beach? Well, if you keep it up long enough you end up building the 3rd largest city in Nevada for 70,000 radical self-expressionists for one week a year, and then erasing all trace of it until the next solstice. Thom White has been participating for a number of years and shares his insider knowledge of Black Rock City and the Burning Man Festival.

So This Just Happened

@ VOL 16 ON NOV 12, 2016

In the middle of preparing a completely different presentation, Dale Weiss' life was interrupted by a necessary trip to St. Petersburg, Florida to attend his son's wedding. He lost his window to work on that presentation, but fortunately St. Petersburg provided more than enough material for this serendipidous PechaKucha.
