This coming February, on Monday the 22nd come and hear local creatives present their passions using 20 images in 20 seconds.

PechaKucha (or chitchat in Japanese) is a creative style of presenting that was created by two Tokyo architects who were fed up with lengthy presentations. The concept has since grown and PechaKucha now runs in over 800 cities around the world bringing together people from all creative backgrounds.

PechaKucha London has been quiet for a wee while, but guess what baby - it's back!!

On 22 February 2016 we have a special collection of speakers from many different disciplines including science, art, design, nutrition, education, fashion, IT, and architecture. The evening will be held at The Book Club in Shoreditch right in the heart of creative London (

James Fruzer, Architect, whose homes for the homeless was a real hit on Kickstarter

Filippo Polesel, Producer from Shorts on Tap, the award-winning London-based short film screening platform 

Sarah T Gold, Designer who transforms the potential of complex emerging technologies into things people understand and use

Tricity Vogue, Cabaret Artist, who recently went off with the circus for a month 

Kathryn Larriva, Urban Designer, on Community Led Intensification

Sunil Shah from the CBxchange, a not-for-profit public forum of building energy enthusiasts

David Ajasa-Adekunle, Architect from Innovation Imperative

James Geddes, founder of Geekzone an organisation that helps geeks to connect

Ellie Connor, Nutritionist, on the future of cricket flour

Ottavia Alieri, Graphic Designer from The Cass

Sarah Buxton, growth and go to market consultant from The Observer Effect

John Ellis, a Blues guitar teacher who was in The Stranglers for 10 years

tetra shed®– a new modular building system

Speaker David Ajasa-Adekunle is an architect and the creator of tetra shed®; a new multi award winning tessellating modular building system, which as a single module, we chose to introduce as a garden office.  An introduction to the system can be seen at
To date, tetra shed® has been featured in over 60 print magazines in over 25 countries. 
Last Summer, a tetra shed® garden office prototype was filmed for Gadget Man on Channel 4 and was aired in mid-October. The show, seen by some 2 million viewers was the first national tetra shed® TV appearance. 
After 3 years in R&D and the construction of 5 prototypes, tetra shed® was officially launched last year.

Run Away And Join The Circus

Tricity Vogue shares about running away to join the circus! Ukulele strumming cabaret performer, Tricity Vogue, has cut a swathe through the UK cabaret scene with hit Edinburgh Fringe shows in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014, and a host of London cabaret productions under her belt.

Everywhere is Somewhere

Jonny McKenna shares on an amazing regeneration project in Balham South London. McKenna is an Associate Director at Architecture and Urbanism practice, Metropolitan Workshop and has played a lead role in masterplanning and residential projects, having previously had wide-ranging experience in Ireland and France. He teaches on Urban Design London’s foundation courses, sits on Hackney’s design review panel and is an RIBA client adviser.

Guitars, Rock and Roll, the Stranglers, David Bowie and MORE!

John Ellis shares on a number of topics including his time with the Strangerls meeting Iggy Pop and David Bowie...and MORE! Ellis is an English guitarist and songwriter.

Between late 1990 and 2000, Ellis was a member of the punk rock band The Stranglers, starting with the album Stranglers In the Night. During that period he also created music for European Art exhibitions and several short films. Ellis left the Stranglers in 2000. He is an exponent of the E-bow guitar.
