Lincoln Pecha Kucha and The Japan Festival are curating a night to remember this October. We're in for a treat celebrating and exploring Japanese culture and artistry.
So far, our amazing speakers include:
Betty Sioux, stand up comedian and foodie will talk about her impressions on Japanese food.
Casa Wabisabi- Lincoln’s secret Sushi club will have a table in the bar, where guests can sample some delicious Japanese creations.
Christele Askew, local creator of 'Raku' Japanese-inspired pottery will join us with her beautiful pieces.
We will also hear from Neville Coupland who trained in Aikido across Japan for almost 6 years, and now runs Lincoln’s Aikido School
Kana from Takayo Kimono Party speaking about traditional Japanese Kimono, and providing an instant polaroid photo-booth, with kimono’s and props to dress up in!
Pia Davison, Lincolnite and Japan enthusiast, will tell us about her life in Japan.
Come chit chat with us!
