Eric Jensen, Vincent Rossmeier of Neutral Ground Brewing discusses and  shares their passion for the communal nature of brewing and enjoying the craft beer process.  Eric and Vincent along with Brady Shannon who have been "brewing beer together in Jensen's woodshed" since early 2013 and drinking it on the New Orleans neutral ground.

New Orleans based graphic artist and teacher, Amanda LaPlaca, discusses her process of making art. She teaches her students that we are all artists and each artist has a different form of making. However, something that all artists make are mistakes and Amanda emphasizes the importance of resilience.

Artist Cynthia Scott incorporates salvaged, recycled and otherwise easily obtainable materials to explore sociopolitical issues, often hybridizing the old with the new. Cynthia shares with us her thoughts regarding her approach to the process of making.

Stephan Wanger is a self-taught artist who channels his creative energy into assembling dazzling mosaics using recycled Mardi Gras beads. Working in a photo-realistic style, Stephan recreates iconic Louisiana images to make the innate beauty and unique culture of this area available to the world. Baker Graison Gill of Bellegarde Bakery, lends his thoughts about bread and the primitive yet poetic process of making, baking and sharing his art in New Orleans.

Brothers, artists, members of the New Orleans based experimental indie rock band the bALLY who?, René and Jacques Duffourc, share their creative and entertaining take on the theme of "The Art of Making." Equal parts concert, workshop, art exhibition and philosophical jam session, their latest piece is driven by a full-length album of music based on their puppet adaptation of "Fantastic Mr. Fox." 

Drummer / Composer / Producer / Designer / Critical Aestheticist, Justin Peake, shares his collection of principles, ideas and processes that he has collected through his work and travels in creating his art. Check out some of his work at Articulated Works.

New Orleans born and raised artist Lionel Milton draws inspiration for his vibrant work from the local sights, sounds and flavors of his hometown. Lionel talks about kicking it New Orleans style, loving life, playing and working hard to produce a body of work in a style all his own. Architecture for Humanity - New Orleans, program director and project manager Alexander Adamick and co-coordinator Michael Vega discuss and share their current community project, a tree nursery in the New Orleans lower 9^th ward. It is a project through Common Ground Relief, a local organization to bring awareness to restore and preserve regional wetlands.

Designer, artist, and Adjunct Professor at Robert Reich School of Landscape Architecture, LSU, Justine Holzman shares a few of her projects and collaborations and discusses the detailed processes behind them. Her interest centers around the relationship between clay and landscape and the similar processes used to sculpt and modify both. Some of Justine’s work can been seen at PALEOSOL and 7b7d.

In Marker Krewe from PechaKucha New Orleans Vol. 12, Oskie Creech shares over eleven years of experience teaching in classrooms with what he views as overly structured schooldays. In 2009, he created summer camps allowing children the autonomy to create their own schedules. Oskie created Maker Krewe to provide the time, tools, expertise and community support that kids need in order to grow as creative problem solvers.
