Join AIASF, the Center for Architecture + Design and PechaKucha SF for a specially designed evening featuring architects, designers, planners and developers presenting work related to the festival theme “Unbuilt San Francisco.” PechaKucha Night was devised in 2003 in Tokyo as an event for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public. PechaKucha 20×20 is a simple presentation format where 20 images are shown for 20 seconds each, with the speaker discussing his or her work along with the images. Confirmed speakers include Bryan Shiles, AIA (WRNS Studio), Jason Kelly Johnson (Future Cities Lab), and Elizabeth Ranieri, FAIA (Kuth Ranieri Architects). Others to be announced.
The doors will open at 5:30 pm for participants to get an early look at AIA San Francisco and the Center for Architecture + Design’s Unbuilt San Francisco: Grand Visions exhibition.
