The Third Pecha Kucha Night in our event series is coming to the ArtPark on September 20th, 2013 A date handed down from Pecha Kucha Headquarters as the target date for a Global Pecha Kucha Event! Cities all over the world will be Presenting on that same date! So come and be part of the fun! 

We'll have 12 presenters sharing their experiences, their passions, and their stories. Come out and enjoy the experience. 

Admission is free; but we are suggesting a $5 donation to offset the cost of the event and help fund future events. 

We welcome all ages. And we are encouraging guests to bring blankets, beach towels, or folding chairs. 

There will be a cash bar with alcoholic beverages and Garcia's Mexican Food has agreed to bring the Taco Truck out to the Art Park on Pine for the event.

Beauty Will Save the World

Aaron Blair explains that we are living in a day and age where convenience and practicality have largely displaced beauty as a value. The architecture in downtown Albany represents a loss of aesthetics that is disastrous to our culture. Instead of beautifying a shared space, we build structures as cheaply as possible. What must we do to make to world beautiful again?
