PechaKucha Global Night: 3DP/PK: 3D PRINTING TECH AND TRENDS 3D printing experts explore developments in the education, medical, and corporate sectors. Live demonstrations will follow after the program.

Eric Goldemberg - Associate Professor, FIU School of Architecture

Oscar Glottman - Glottman

Ken Baker - Assistant Professor, UM Department of Mathematics

Corrie Van Sice - Creative Research and Engineering

Werner Blumenthal - WB Engineering

A special part of the program will involve participating in the PechaKucha Global Night Google Hangout starting in New Zealand, and then moving through Asia, Europe and an entire ocean to the next set of cities. The West Coast will kick things off at 20:20 and then come east to Miami. 3D-Printing Biology

@ VOL 23 ON SEP 20, 2013

Corrie Van Sice works at the intersection of design, engineering, and biology. She speaks on the under-discussed dilemma of "innovation" run amok. Corrie posits that if more scientists were to operate like artists (in that they could explore their studies without university or corporate control), development in their field might take a new and exciting direction.
