Living Life Creatively...with Children

@ VOL 15 ON SEP 12, 2013

Beth Gillespie gives a comical insight into how she balances her life as a mother of small children and still tying to be creative. She embarked on a challenge in which she would complete an artwork during the time coming to her  presentation and document it to show how she is still able to be creative while having children and how she can influence them to be creative as well.

Passion Over Profit

@ VOL 15 ON SEP 12, 2013

Since he was little, Dwayne Larson has had a passion for music, but with no patience to practice, decided to include his interest for photography by documenting concerts and shows. By getting into the crowds and capturing their excitable expressions when they see their favorite artist, he connects with their enthusiasm that is better than any amount of profit he can make.

Just Say Yes

@ VOL 15 ON SEP 12, 2013

When Mavis McRae quit her government job in favor of freelance work, she knew she had to be open to new experiences and opportunities in order to be successful. Her willingness and flexibilty allowed her to travel around the world, teaching marketing and business in China, the Phillipines, and Vietnam. In the words of Ashton Kutcher, "opportunity looks a lot like hard work, while luck looks like stepping out of your comfort zone."
