Morgan's Organ - 100 and Out!

A look at "Morgan's Organ," a series of monthly solo keyboard improvisation concerts by British artist Morgan Fisher, featuring his collection of rare vintage instruments, his light paintings, and his collection of avant-garde and unusual videos. The series started at SuperDeluxe at the same time as PechaKucha Night and will reach #100 (and end) almost ten years later, on March 28, 2013.

SuperDeluxe, Home of PKN

SuperDeluxe in Tokyo is where the first PechaKucha Night was held back in February of 2003, and it remains its home. Each month, the Tokyo series includes a presentation that looks at the latest and upcoming happenings at the space, but for this special 100th edition, manager Mike Kubeck takes a look back at some of his highlights.

The First PKN Presentation

Back in February of 2003, the very first PechaKucha Night was held at SuperDeluxe, and the very first presenter for the evening was Klein Dytham architecture's Yukinari Hisayama. At the Tokyo series' special 100th edition, he again kicked off the night, with the VERY SAME presentation, image for image! (in Japanese)

The World's Best City When It Rains

In 2021 the city of Gothenburg, Sweden turns 400. Preparing for this, the city invited different people to come up with ideas regarding how Gothenburg could make an international mark in the years leading up to the anniversary. This is the idea that Jesper Larsson brought to the table in The World's Best City When It Rains from PechaKucha Night Tokyo Vol. 100
