Cities Influencing Set Design

Katherine Chan talks about set design, and the illusions that can be utilized to manipulate our perception of space, both in set design, and real cities. She looks at the architecture of various cultures, and the use of lighting, walls, and openings, to pull people into an environment, whether it is a jungle, or an alleyway.

Cara To explains how her incessant curiosity has led her through a variety of fields in her life, from biochemistry, to video game design. She talks about some of the projects she has undertaken along the way, and her determination to act, and throw her doubts aside.
