It’s back! Pecha Kucha Night Dundee Volume 4 has arrived, taking place on Tuesday 6th November 2012 – back where it all started a year ago, part of NEoN Digital Arts Festival 2012. So, whether you’re a PKN regular or just curious to find out what it’s all about, do read on! Take a dozen or so creative presenters with 20 images and only 20 seconds to discuss each; add a splash of lights and camera; and then toss in say, 200 enthusiastic audience members; mix well with heaps of good atmosphere; a dash of nerves; a pint or two of beer; and you have the perfect ingredients for Pecha Kucha Night Dundee. Literary Dundee

Anna Day is the Director of Literary Dundee, and she is publishing manager of Dundee University Press and co-founded Playroom Press with her husband, Chris Collins. Chris is a book designer. The first Playroom Press book, Dundee 123, is a counting book for cool kids using Dundee's landmarks.

In their presentation, Anna and Chris chat about their love of all things lit and their new book, Dundee 123.

Mhairi Towler is founder and creative director of the animation production company, Vivomotion, based in Dundee. The company offers a service of bespoke animations for scientific communication. Mhairi integrates a background in science with animation skills in order to use visual and 3D methodologies to communicate science to a wider audience.

In her presentation, Mhairi explains how she has combined her passion for science and animation together into her business, Vivomotion.
