Pecha Kucha Chicago Volume 2 took place on September 25th at Martyrs on Lincoln Avenue - as with Volume 1, over 200 people showed up. Volume 2 alumni: Thorsten Bösch (traveler), Mike Bordinaro (writer), Tracey Dear (musician and chief lampie), Jack Fisher (graphic designer), Andy Hall (artist), Paula Kagan (nurse and teacher), Deborah Kang (architect), Anders Nereim (educator), Krisann Rehbein (educator), Mike Serafin (industrial designer), Nat Soti (artist).

Design For Recycling

Young architect Deborah Kang won a competition organized by the City of Chicago and AIA Chicago to design an eco-aware trash recepticle that was installed in Millennium Park.  Her team's design garnered interest from design and sustainability organizations around the world - and was featured at Lollapalooza!
