Physics in Unexpected Places: An Improvised 20x20 Talk

BY CAITY CURTIS
@ VOL 36 ON NOV 22, 2018

PechaKucha Night Winnipeg challenged improviser Caity Curtis to perform an improvised 20x20 talk, with no prior knowledge of the slides that would project on stage. Writing is a practice that takes skill, dedication, and inspiration. The last of those three is sometimes hard to come by and it takes a good, steady search and an instinct to know what is or isn't inspiring and interesting enough to both write and read about.

Author Bess Hamilton's debut novel, Remembrance, was published in 2018 and in her PechaKucha Night Winnipeg talk, she talks about her inspirations for the book. Here, she gives us a peek into her brainstorming process for Remembrance, and insight into her style and approach to writing.

Bess' talk was recorded live at PechaKucha Night Winnipeg Vol. 36, on November 22 2018, at the Park Theatre.
