Adventures through Bicycling
BY JAMES NORD
@ VOL 1
ON AUG 14, 2014
Brothers, James and Dylan Nord grew up together going on adventures, riding their bikes, building forts, and playing pretend. A few decades later they were still riding bikes, racing them now, but had lost the adventure and childish fun of their youth that they couldn't forget.
They decided to create something that would allow them to step outside of their modern adult lives and experience the unabashed freedom and thrill they knew growing up, but had lost as adults. And so Deux North was born as a way to say, "I'm still young."

Mack Black from Cycle-Re-Cycle - L'earn a bike: What a bike can teach you
Mack Black is an UX designer, living, working, and biking in Southwest Michigan. She moved to Berrien Berrien Springs in 2016 on a YOLO whim from Washington DC, with a strong desire for living in a place larger than a postage stamp and chicken ownership.
She is a new volunteer at CycleReCycle, a Benton Harbor Non-Profit dedicated to keeping bicycles out of landfills and advocating for bicycling as a preferred mode of transportation. Through their L'Earn A Bike program they teach area youth the art of bicycle maintenance, and Mack continues to be amazed at how much a bike can teach you.
