Simon Bowden and Bryna O'Brien discuss their plans for Boosted, a new crowdfunding website for the arts in New Zealand. They talk about how they got the funding for boosted, what the arts foundation in New Zealand does, and projects that were on the website when Boosted launched in March 2013.

Now in its fourth year, and with a new re-branded name, the Williamsburg Fall Arts festival is expaned from Labor Day to mid-October. Terry Buntrock, who is the organizer for this celebration of creativity, gives us just a sampling of the over 130 events that are jam packed into the festival. We also get a glimpse of next year's additions! So much creativity can't be contained.

Laura Conning wears many hats in the Collingwood area.  She owns and operates Route26.ca, a website dedicated to showcasing the local music of the Georgian Bay Area through calendar listings, blog posts, and featured articles.  A musician herself, Laura has been singing and songwriting for over 10 years, and currently performs in a duo called Honeymoon Phase.  She holds a Master of Arts in Popular Music & Culture, a unique cultural and media studies program at The University of Western Ontario.  Laura has recently become the Business Manager for Content Refined, a content marketing company based out of Collingwood.

This presentation is about my local music project, Route26.ca, which is an online music hub that shows off the musical happenings in the Georgian Bay area.  I want this presentation to show how Route 26 has helped me grow as a creative and musical individual while helping me plant roots in a new community.
