In the early 2000’s, Geoffery Howard and his wife, Carol,went on 5 different 2-month assignments to work with non-profits in 5 different countries. "We got involved with everything from irrigation to gorillas, orphans to sex workers." These are those stories.

Roslyn Fassett lived a week in Old Minto, Alaska, in the woods near the Tanana river in an Athabaskan fish camp. The natives once were migratory hunters who camped there in the season of the returning salmon.

    I have enjoyed the continuous learning process that making art offers me. Landscapes, still-lives, and portraits have been my subjects. Sharing my vision of the world, especially nature, with people gives me great joy. As a child I was introduced to art by my father, a professional artist. I have been involved with art all through my life, creating fabric art, teaching water color techniques, and drawing and painting on my own. I professionally designed and created fabric wall hangings and clothing for 17 years and now I paint using water colors, oils and acrylics. I live in a beautiful area that inspires me to paint landscapes.
